From the settings panel, widgets can be reordered or hidden. You can change the look of the widgets by adding a border, change the margin or change the radius of the edges. But if more space is available, many of the widgets will stretch out to maximize the available area. Each widget is designed to fit in a 200x200 square. If you want to squish the app off to the side, the app is fine with that. The idea is to maximize space. The general goal is for the app to work offline, but the Weather widget simply requires Internet access.The app is also ridiculously responsive. Synctoy for macThat is my number one request. I travel a quite a bit and I like to be able to see the weather for multiple locations at once. I would dearly like to add multiple windows for weather. Mainly, it needs some user customization. However, I do think it needs some work. I appreciate what this app is trying to do by creating an alternative to the now extinct widgets. There was a book project on the schedule, but now it's complete. It's taking a different approach, it's almost disingenuous to call it a Dashboard replacement because it truly isn't.Development on the app is back in action again. Maybe one day it'll get there but coming up on a year of development and I don't see it getting there.Maybe one day someone will leverage the widget framework Apple already showed as being effective and will make a true Dashboard replacement but Widgets isn't it. It's not a canvas for which I can throw widgets at and configure them, it's something else. I really wanted this to work for me, I've tried a few times now but it isn't there. It's too rigid, inflexible and missing out the fluidity that the old Dashboard app had. There's so much potential here. Watching Craig Federighi present new features for widgets in macOS / iOS was incredibly encouraging. As an example, the long requested Dictionary widget was added.Seeing the WWDC was especially exciting. The app has definitely improved based on feedback. People can see where this app is at. It's why the reviews aren't reset with new releases. Maybe one day you'll change your mind about your review.
